Still Woozy – Rocky

Sven Gamsky, better known as his stage name ‘Still Woozy’, is an American singer and songwriter. Described by NME as “psychedelic bedroom pop”, this genre-bending sensation says he chose the name ‘Still Woozy’ due to his spaced-out nature. And Woozy stays true to his name with his dreamy new single ‘Rocky.’

The song is accompanied by an equally dreamlike music video, where viewers join Woozy on a journey through the clouds. Woozy appears to be floating in a trancelike state as he sings “And I’ll only feel better half of the time / When I am sleeping and not dreaming in my bed.” Woozy’s heavenly vocals coupled with the psychedelic visuals of the video provide a well-needed escape from reality during these dark times.

As the rise of lofi indie-pop dominates the music scene right now, Woozy remains at the forefront of it all. Placing the listener into an amalgamation of chilled R&B and neo-soul, ‘Rocky’ is no less incredible than Woozy’s previous hit tracks.

The single is the first from his upcoming debut album, and his first song of 2021. After having his first tour postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s no doubt that Still Woozy will be unstoppable this year, and we can’t wait to see him in action!
